Can I do this hike if I have no prior hiking experience?
Yes, the hike is designed to be accessible to those with little to no hiking experience. The guide will offer support and adjust the pace to suit the group’s capabilities. However, a moderate level of fitness is recommended due to the incline and rough terrain.
Climate Comfort
Fuerteventura enjoys a warm climate year-round, but the refreshing trade winds keep it pleasant. We schedule hikes in the cooler morning or late afternoon to ensure your comfort. How comfortable is somebody with heat, depends on the individual, but if there is an alert for hight temepratures issued by government, we will not organize this activitiy and fully refund you.
Sun protection
Absolutely! Fuerteventura is sunny, so sun protection is crucial. Bring high SPF suncream (at least SPF 30) to prevent sunburn. If you forget, we have extra suncream available.
How do I prepare for the hike?
Make sure to be well-rested, hydrated, and prepared with appropriate gear. It’s recommended to have a light meal before the hike and pack snacks & water.

Fuertexperience provides transportation options from major areas such as Corralejo, El Cotillo, and Lajares. It’s best to confirm the pickup location when booking your hike.

We meet in front of the Acua Water Park, Av. Ntra. Sra. del Carmen, 41, 35660 Corralejo.
Please note that we meet in front of the ENTRANCE to the water park, on the parking lot (close to the big statue of a boy with orange hair).
